John Chapman, from St. Columb Major, Cornwall runs an excellent website called www.steamtoys.co.uk.

He had had a long running interest in things mechanical and steam powered machines in particular.

Recently he started to collect models of these interesting and little known machines.

He had recently written this excellent photo diary recording the build of a model of a Froment Engine built from a kit manufactured by the Old Model Company.
